Been bothering Ulama... Alhamdulillah for their patience and time! Allah ta'ala alone can reward them all.

Alhamdulillah mind is at rest... both opinions are available though the new fatwa makes it a lot easier on women, Alhamdulillaah, as there is quite a bit of detail to the old one!

General Discussion / New Fatwa on Rules pertaining to the Haidhah and Travel

Respected Mufti sahib and other Scholars
Assalaamu 'alaykum warahmatullaah

Regarding the rulings of the Haaidhah and travel, I believe there is a new fatwa from Pakistan (PDF documents attached).

What we knew before (Can be found in the opening post in the following link along with the Fatwas of Muftis Ebrahim Desai and Ebrahim Salejee further on  as well as the new fatwas posted by Sister Bint e Aisha further down in the same topic)

is now apparently void. The new ruling makes it easy on women however there still appears to be a difference. One opinion is that the old fatwa does not apply while the other is that both apply.

Rather confusing so I'm searching for clarification. It would be much appreciated if someone can throw light on the matter.

Inshaallah I can contribute by sharing 9:119 here.

Suhbah in this context is: being in the company of the truthful and actively striving to emulate them (who in turn emulated the sadiqeen before them, going back to Rasulullah, sallallahu alayhi wa sallem) in order to achieve taqwa.

If we can see tafsir Maariful Quran for Surah Tawbah ayat 119 maybe we can get further info.

What is the meaning of "suhbah" and in this context especially?

There is a malfuz of Hakeem ul Ummah ra I believe in Kamalaat e Ashrafiyya in which he stresses islahi taluq first before bayt. He says bayt is not child's play.

Yes indeed. Ta'lluq takes effort from the side of the saalik. It highlights whether the talab and desire is genuine or not. Whether the willingness is coupled with following or mere desire.

Try the print at 40durood.com they might have print out available.

Or check local islamic bookstore, they usually carry.

Islamic Dawah Academy can send you out multiple copies and so you can have for yourself and gift to others. I received many from them and gifted some out (even to my shaikh). They are pocket size.

We must turn our efforts up. I must turn MY efforts up.

Learning seerah and sunnah, primarily, siffaat e nabvi (prophetic qualities) salallaho alayhi wa sallam, practicing and spreading. Durood basically is the catalyst, fuel, source of ruhani strength, to keep it all going.

The above are all under huqooq of Rasulullah salallaho alayhi wa sallam. To honor him, to send abundant salawat on him, to obey him, to defend his honor etc. This all has been written by scholars. See Kitab Shifa of Qadhi Iyad ra. The entire Ummah is united on this.

Of sins, how great is the sin of not fulfilling huqooq of the Holy Prophet salallaho alayhi wa sallam?
We know what the consequench is if don't pay back a dollar we owe to someone, imagine consequence of not even being aware of haq of Nabi salallaho alayhi wa sallam.

Something we must make tawbah of, seriously. 1 haq of Rasulullah salallaho alayhi wa sallam on one side of the scale, entire Ummah on the other side of the scale, his haq far outweighs.

It is a serious matter, not a game. I am doing nothing in this regard and must get my efforts going.

Imam Rabbani ra wrote in his Maktubaat "with your full determination and devotion work to bring even 1 sunnah alive."

Keywords: Determination and devotion.

I wish that every household can do weekly seerah programs and durood reading just with family. Get a book by scholar and read as a family. Put out some beads and everyone read, then read on the qualities and maybe some bio of Nabi salallaho alayhi wa sallam.

It's the call of the time. May Allah swt accept and make it easy.

Waalaikummussalaam wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuhu:

Yes, I must echo the same sentiments. May Allah Ta'aala protect him, accept it from him, and grant him the best of both worlds. Ameen.

I had the same issue so I went searching and found this: You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login

I printed it in book format and then stapled the middle.
