"The love for position is one cause of disunity in the Ummah.
If you are serving a position, ask yourself, are you serving Islam or your nafs?"

A student should have adab of his teacher because 'ilm does not come from books but rather from the heart of the teacher

Know that it is with ilm (knowledge) that you must speak, and that it is with hilm (forbearance) that you must remain silent

Placing one’s Reliance on Allah Ta’ala

Hazrat Moulana Muhammad Ilyaas (rahmatullahi ‘alaih) once mentioned:

A person becoming despondent of Deeni progress on account of lack of resources is in actual fact a sign that his reliance on worldly means is more than his conviction upon the power of Allah Ta’ala and His promises. One should place his reliance entirely upon Allah Ta’ala and work with determination, Allah Ta’ala will create the means for the work to be accomplished. Otherwise, without the Divine help of Allah Ta’ala, what can man do of his own accord? Nevertheless, mustering up courage and determination and striving is vitally important in order to receive the Divine help of Allah Ta’ala. Don't ever sell your ILM and IMAN off for a piece of cake and a cup of tea.
