Inshaallah, here are some names from my family:

عَلِيْ

اَيْتَانْة

مُوْزَايًّنْة or is it... مُوزَايًّة

مُوْازَّزْة or perhaps... مُواَزَّزْة

شَاهِينْ

اَيْكُتْ

I don't think I'm familiar with some of these names. Can you provide the English/Roman spelling?

 رَيْحَانْ بِِـنْ يَعْقُوبْ

Why do you have Tanween under the Baa?

Guys, first session is live so lets get to work and do some real homework :lol

I didn't see any tanween. Zoomed-in screenshot attached

My laptop on Windows 7 shows Tanween and the font is also different to yours. :lol

Jzk for the clarification from the poster

My Windows 10 (home) laptop is not showing Tanween while Windows 7 (work) laptop is still showing Tanween in Zeere63's response.

Ajeeb!

Yes, ما شاء الله they are correct.

Two points you might want to keep in mind:

1) The name عَلِيٌّ actually has a shaddah on the yaa', just like the word كُرْسِيٌّ.

2) Although you are correct in writing the name حَسَّان, this name would normally be transliterated as "Ḥassān" in English, like the Ṣaḥābī, Ḥassān bin Thābit (رضي الله عنه). It seems that the intended request was for the name حَسَن, which is normally translated as "Ḥasan" in English, like the Ṣaḥābī, Ḥasan bin ʿAlī (رضي الله عنهما).

JazakAllahu khayran, I appreciate the additional guidance and correction.

Inshaallah, these are now correct:

مُحَمَّد
عَلِيٌّ
حَسَن
خَالِد

MashaAllah.

Since the course has begun there is no reason for a Pre-thread so I will close this. It will remain visible for new students or during the next Semester, InshaAllah.
